Port Harcourt
On arrival at Bonny FWB, vessel is to report arrival to Bonny Signal Station and to obtain Green Light to proceed inwards on the channel to Bonny Town. Usual pilot boarding area is Bonny Town from bouys 32-36.
Vessels should NOT exceed buoys 35/36 without Pilot Boarding.
Total time required for inward movement between FWB and public port is about 6-8 hours, depending on obtaining Green Light, pilot boarding speed and traffic on the Bonny channel

Permissible LOA: 150m (Port is flexible with LOA’s, can take more than 150m overlapping other Berths)

There is no NPA tug boats available. Agent is making arrangements for private tug boats.
The Public Port in Port Harcourt is regularly referred to as “Area 1”.
