According to recent announcements, development of Phase 2 of the Lekki Deep Sea Port is expected to commence soon, marking another important milestone in the growth of Nigeria’s maritime sector.
The expansion plans reflect the strong performance and rapid growth of the port since it commenced operations. Once completed, Phase 2 is expected to further increase cargo-handling capacity, improve logistics efficiency, and strengthen Lagos’ position as a leading maritime and trade hub in West Africa.
